DR RENIER KRIEL
Dr Renier Kriel is a highly skilled orthopaedic surgeon with a particular interest in treating shoulder problems. Dr Kriel is committed to delivering the highest standard of care to patients. He is motivated and dedicated to building upon his knowledge, surgical expertise, and technical skills within the field.
Dr Kriel is affiliated with the following bodies:

- The South African Orthopaedic Association
- Society of South African Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons
- The South African Medical Association
- The Professional Provident Society
Dr Kriel graduated from Stellenbosch University (MBChB) in 2011. After gaining experience as a young doctor in Nelspruit, Kimberley and Worcester, he qualified as an Orthopaedic Surgeon from Stellenbosch University in 2022. In 2023 he did a Shoulder Fellowship under Dr Joe de Beer and at Tygerberg Hospital.
Dr Kriel has contributed to several research studies and delivered a number of presentations.
Dr Kriel is a happily married man with two young boys. And when he isn't in the theatre performing surgery, he enjoys playing golf, running, cycling, hunting and fishing.
