We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr Kriel and his wonderful team for the outstanding care our son received after breaking his arm. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness, compassion, and professionalism.
Dr Kriel was absolutely amazing — calm, reassuring, and incredibly caring throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made our son and us feel comfortable and at ease during a very stressful time.
A special thank you as well to the friendly receptionist, whose warm welcome and helpful attitude made such a difference. Her kindness and genuine care truly stood out and made us feel supported from the very beginning.
We are so thankful for the excellent treatment and exceptional service we received. We highly recommend Dr Kriel and his team to anyone looking for compassionate and professional medical care.

I’m making great progress and am back to bike riding, doing jumps and tricks similar to what I was doing before my compound fracture. The external fixator was on for 4 ½ months, and since its removal, I’ve been rehabbing and steadily getting closer to where I was pre-injury. While my tibial fracture is still in the remodelling stage, the bone has generally made a good union and is strong enough to handle significant impact again. However, I am seeking stem cell treatment in December due to significant deterioration of my talar dome and surrounding soft tissues from a previous talus injury 5–6 years ago (as confirmed by recent MRI and X-rays). Aside from that, I’m doing really well and am so happy to be back riding after 6 months off! I just want to give a massive thank you for your incredible work. All the surgeons and doctors I've consulted with have said I’ve had amazing surgical results on both my ankle and wrist (which is also doing great, and I’ve regained almost full mobility). It’s always good to hear, and it's a true testament to your skill and expertise. Once again, thank you for your work. You’ve saved my life. Much love, Dan

My son got a rather unusual collar bone injury in Rugby. Dr Kriel made sure that the treatment going forward was in the best interest of my son (he was not in a hurry to operate due to the proximity of the sternum), so that he could get back to playing once the injury healed. We thank him for his time and research in making the right decision and would definitely refer him to the Maties Rugby Community.

I had a timely and effective surgery from Dr Kriel following a full rupture of my achilles tendon. It's been four months since my surgery and my recovery has been smooth with no post-surgery issues. The entire process has been professional and I received a lot of additional support outside the office.
